Light only when the space needs it.
This academic project links motion detection to automatic light control using an Arduino-based system concept.
The objective is direct: use occupancy-related input to drive lighting, and avoid burning energy in an empty room.
A small system with one clear decision.
It demonstrates the basic relationship between sensing, embedded logic and a physical output in an energy-efficiency context.
- Monitor the space
- Receive a motion signal
- Evaluate the control logic
- Change the light state
- Resume monitoring
Clear about what is known.
Arduino, motion detection, automatic control and energy efficiency are documented, but the board, sensor, circuit, source code and measured savings were not part of the available material.
Next documentation step: add a verified circuit diagram, component list, control thresholds, source code and test observations when those materials exist.
